Ahmedabad’s Buzz-ness with Innovation and
Entrepreneurship in TiECON 2017.

TiE Ahmedabad to host TiECON’17 at one of India’s most prestigious B-School and the alma-mater of successful managers and entrepreneurs, IIM-Ahmedabad. TiECON is an entrepreneurial conference held internationally where businessmen, professionals, equity investors and budding entrepreneurs network with each other and there are exhibitions of companies and mentoring and educational speeches delivered by renowned people who hold an expertise and experience in their respective fields. Professionals from various fields have been participating in TiECON since years.


Ahmedabad as a platform for carrying out business has many businessman in the city who are young, talented and intelligent corporate magnates in their industries such as Ankit Chona, CEO of Havmor in F&B industry and Kulin Lalbhai of Arvind Ltd in textiles. TiECON Ahmedabad 2016 witnessed 37 speakers from various fields and we are pleased to have a few of them again this year. CEOs and VCs of Pharmaceutical Giants like Cadilla & Zydus, professors and incubators of reputed B-schools, Editor-in-chief of BusinessWorld Magazine, Mr. Anurag Batra and a couple of politicians among whom one was Mr.Jay Panda, Member of the Indian Parliament.


The participating audience comprised of prospective businessmen, professionals and start-up companies who participated with the motive of getting finance for their start-ups as there was a presence of investors at the event. As TiECON’16 proved to be a triumphiant event, we forecast a bigger success this year as its the second TiECON. The event will be held on 4th March, 2017 with 10 sessions in a day with 30+ speakers and over 1000 attendees. Some of the speakers in the conference this year include renowned MDs and Chairman such as Dr. A Velumani, the founder of medical company Thyrocare Ltd, the MD OF the Inverter industry giant company Su-Kam, Mr. Kunwer Sachdev and many other speakers from the sectors of Seed funding, payment gateway, machinery, refineries, textiles, food and beverages, education and sports management.
