Vaastu tips CLINICS, HEALTH CENTRES, HOSPITALS

In some ways Vaastu for clinics/ health centres / hospitals is more important than for homes. Hospitals attract sick people and visitors. Sick come to regain health. Vaastu looks at hospitals from the perspective of positive energy that can pave the way for quick recovery of patients and considers different factors like location of hospital, location of operation theatres, placement of beds, emergency ward so on. However certain basic aspects cannot be overlooked in achieving harmony with nature while designing health centres and hospitals.

To turn commercial space into a successful venture, follow principles of Vaastu. Commercial Vaastu brings profit and prosperity to business or office.

For example, gadgets like power points, power sockets, transformers, generators, lifts, AC units, fire extinguishers etc. should be either on West or South side.

Whenever utility, toilets or staircases are placed in North-East, buildings tend to lose their charm in a short time.

INCREDIBLE LITTLE RANN

For a casual visitor or avid bird watcher the Little Rann of Kutch fascinates as a birding paradise. Indeed a birding paradise with large flocks of larks, and other ground dwelling birds like sandgrouse, coursers, plovers, chats, warblers, babblers, shrikes and the houbara bustard.

The best birding is at lakes and marshes in and around the Rann where birds gather during October to March. In these months demoiselle and common cranes are seen in incredibly large numbers. The wetlands equally attract flamingos, pelicans, storks, ibises, spoonbill, a variety of ducks and other waterfowl.

The Rann also hunting ground for birds of prey like raptors, short-toed eagle, Aquila eagle, six species of falcon, buzzards and three species of harrier. It is one of the few places where harriers can be seen roosting on open-ground at night.

Unique Indian Wild Ass or ‘Gudkhur’ is what Little Rann is really known for. These asses chestnut brown in colour reach high speeds galloping across the Rann and usually move in small herds. For these animals ‘bets’ or islands on the ancient sea bed covered with grass and scrub provide sustenance.

These bets support other wildlife like the blackbuck (Indian antelope), Nilgai or blue bull (India’s largest antelope) and the graceful Chinkara (Indian gazelle). One can also spot smaller mammals like hares, gerbil’s and hedgehogs, and reptiles like spiny tailed lizard, monitor, red and common sand boa, saw-scaled viper, cobra, dhaman (Indian rat snake).
